Work-shop on chronic epidural stimulation of spinal cord took place in CRCH

Chronic epidural stimulation of spinal cord (SCS-therapy) is method of treatment of some diseases, based on affecting of high-pitched electric current on structures of back horns of spinal cord. Epidural stimulation of spinal cord became the most widespread surgical method of treatment of patients with various diseases for the last 20 years. The pressing questions of technique usage have been discussed today in Children's Republican Clinical Hospital. Specialists of Federal Traumatology, Orthopedy and Endoprosthesis Replacement Centre from Barnaul, G.I.Turner Children's Orthopedic Institute from St.-Petersburg and employees of CRCH took part in work-shop.
